Toms River vs Tampa -which is better?

I'm a 50-year-old restaurant manager and It's a a smaller city city with about 93,915 people. Rent is about $1,678/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $95,759 in Toms River. With a population of 93,915, Toms River is a smaller city. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Meadowbrook area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
