OK so I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,062 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Is this normal for Tonawanda Town? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Asian.
