Rent in Tonawanda Town getting crazy

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Median household income is $76,644, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $199,400, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Tonawanda Town?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely tough and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
