Tooele is underrated, change my mind

I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $338,400 on average. With a population of 37,265, Tooele is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,166/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $338,400, which seems about average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like seafood.

No regrets on my end..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The safety is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
