Job market in Torrance — what industries are hiring?

I'm in manufacturing and considering a move to Torrance, CA. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 3.5% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Eastside. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

My kids love it here. So many parks and activities. The local food is incredible.

Check out the Riverside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.
