Curious what people think. I'm a teacher here and With a population of 143K, Torrance is a mid-size city. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Would love some local perspective. Cheers. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
