Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,101/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Torrington sits at 106.0 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
