I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The pet-friendliness is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a marketing manager and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The community vibe scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Nightlife is limited
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much growing but now it's improving.
