Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $40,993, which feels on the lower side for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 12 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..
