Day-to-day life in Town 'n' Country, FL

Hey folks, Been living here since 2007. The median home value here is around $295,800, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $295,800 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience?

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much wild but now it's pretty good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in government. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Definitely worth checking out..

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
