Is public transit usable in Town 'n' Country?

I'm a college student here and It's a a smaller city city with about 86,544 people. Rent is about $1,643/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 8.0%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The public transit is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
