Town 'n' Country vs Montgomery — which is better to move to?

My partner and I are deciding between Town 'n' Country and San Antonio for our next move. We care most about:
- Cost of living
- Safety
- Job market (manufacturing)
- Outdoor activities

Anyone who's lived in either or both — which would you choose and why?

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 6/10.

Respectfully disagree about the cost of living assessment. In my experience, it's been pretty safe in my area.

Check out the Downtown area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Oakwood and Riverside are perfectly safe.

As someone who moved here from LA, I can confirm most of this. The weather surprised me the most.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Westside. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.
