Anyone else love living in Towson?
Been meaning to ask this. Born and raised here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any help is appreciated.

I've lived in Uptown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The food scene scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
- The cost of living scene is decent
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in finance. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Meadowbrook area are improving. Kids love it here.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The healthcare is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
