Unpopular opinion about Traverse City

Hello, I relocated for work and Rent is about $983/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $71,731 in Traverse City. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What would you do? The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Moved here from Charlotte about 8 years ago. it's been a really good experience overall. Still getting used to cultural scene but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a marketing manager and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
