Best restaurants in Travilah?

Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $3,385 for rent here. The median home value here is around $1,225,300, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a contractor, 43, moved here 11 years ago from Pittsburgh. I've lived in Fairview and Eastside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good healthcare facilities
2. Four distinct seasons
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Not very walkable outside downtown
3. The community vibe situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Fairview: Great for families. average vibes, walkable.
- Eastside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Pittsburgh, everything felt tough. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $40K-$120K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I work in tech here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is hit or miss. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2021 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
