I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 10,886 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The cultural scene is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
