Life in Tremonton as a young professional

Curious what people think. Just moved here 8 months ago and Homes are going for about $334,300 on average. Median household income is $72,028, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 10,886, Tremonton is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Tremonton sits at 154.9 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
