How is Trenton for outdoor activities?

Curious what people think. I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $202,400 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Is this normal for Trenton? Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Moved here last year, no regrets.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Portland it's better than expected.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The cost of living is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The walkability scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
