Working in Trenton -salaries realistic?

Random thought, Would love some local perspective. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Portland about 2 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is improving.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
