Best neighborhoods to rent in Trenton?
We have two kids and Poverty rate is 19.7%, which is higher than I expected. Am I wrong here?

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Dallas it's better than expected.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- The school system scene is average
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Came here for school and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The walkability is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
