How much do you pay for rent in Trinity?

Hi all, Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $2,594/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 19,296 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Trinity sits at 799.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $422,000 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Good job market
- Growing food scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely average and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
