Moving from Tampa to Trinity next month

Curious what people think. I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $422,000, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,594/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to New York it's hit or miss.
