Is Trinity worth it salary-wise?

OK so I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Trinity sits at 138.1 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 7,066 people. The median home value here is around $187,700, which is actually reasonable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience? Appreciate any input. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Eastside side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Pittsburgh it's tough.

I work in government here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in Uptown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
- The cultural scene scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.
