Is Troy good for remote workers?
Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $943 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Troy sits at 659.8 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
