Best apartments in Troy under ?

Hey folks, Household incomes average around $97,825 in Troy. It's a a small town city with about 10,889 people. The median home value here is around $240,800, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Lots of new development
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Boring for young people
Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Greenfield for 12 years. Moved from Chicago for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is decent. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor scene is improving - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are underrated. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Dating scene is rough. And outdoor recreation can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 7/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Sunset area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely pretty good and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Definitely worth checking out..
