Best companies to work for in Troy?

So, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $240,800 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Came here for work and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The cost of living is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Phoenix it's solid.

I'm a writer and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
