Longtime lurker here, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $199,400, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Troy sits at 87.6 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great.
