Random thought, Rent is about $563/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Trujillo Alto zona urbana sits at 2,771.8 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in East. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
