Hi all, Been living here since 2014. Median household income is $96,188, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,479 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for Tuckahoe? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
