Is Tucker walkable?

Homes are going for about $359,300 on average. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,458/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 37,022 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 11 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into running, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
