Is Tulare worth it salary-wise?

Hey everyone, I'm a 30-year-old nurse and Poverty rate is 15.8%, which is higher than I expected. Median household income is $69,517, which feels about average for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 69,984 people. You can expect to pay around $1,354 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
