Just moved to Tulsa from Dallas — first impressions
We made the move 5 ago and here are my first impressions:
There are tons of parks and outdoor spaces. Rent runs about $998/month for a typical apartment. Weather is moderate — about 63F average.
Biggest surprise: The food scene is way better than expected
Biggest disappointment: Public transit could be better
Overall, I really enjoy living here.

If you can afford it, Midtown is the best place to live. Period.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Coming from San Francisco, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

I work in logistics and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 4 months.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Midtown and Old Town are perfectly safe.
