Worst things about Tulsa nobody talks about

Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 20s, and Average temperature is around 63°F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $998 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 9 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
