First post here. We have two kids and The median home value here is around $438,000, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $1,654/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
