Is Turlock a good place to live?
Alright, Been living here since 2005. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $443,900 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 72,400 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
