Just moved to Turtle Creek, any tips?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $718/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in Sunset for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options
- The food scene scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.
