Best apartments in Twin Falls under ?

Hey folks, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Twin Falls sits at 398.3 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,011 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely excellent and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (West) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. No regrets on my end..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

I work in real estate here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is pretty good. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
