Hello, Been living here since 2007. The median home value here is around $279,400, which seems about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,219 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for Twin Falls?

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The food scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Moved here from Raleigh about 13 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to nightlife but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in North for 12 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.
**Employment:**
construction is strong here. tech is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is tough - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Chain restaurants dominate. And food scene can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
