Household incomes average around $65,527 in Tyler. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is decent.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Feel free to reach out with questions..
