Anyone else feel this way? Just moved here 18 months ago and Homes are going for about $94,200 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? TIA! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I work in healthcare here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is decent. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in tech. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
