Rent vs buy in Uhrichsville -what makes sense?

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 19 years and Poverty rate is 17.6%, which is higher than I expected. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in East for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The housing market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Eastside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The nightlife scene is decent

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for school and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The cultural scene is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
