OK so Median household income is $114,286, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Unalaska sits at 155.1 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
