Quick question about Union Springs

Hey everyone, Median household income is $95,282, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 1,274, Union Springs is a small town. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 8 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
