Uniontown in the winter -how bad?

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $757 for rent here. Homes are going for about $87,600 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The weather scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. No regrets on my end..
