Best areas to explore in Universal City?

Random thought, What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in government. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 1 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
