University CDP (Hillsborough County) housing prices -when will it stop?

Alright, The median home value here is around $146,400, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I'm a accountant and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely excellent and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Downtown) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
