Weekend activities in University CDP (Hillsborough County)?

Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $146,400, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thanks in advance!

I've lived in Midtown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
- The community vibe scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
