Job market in University Park for tech?

I work in construction and It's a a smaller city city with about 25,104 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'm a project manager and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

I've lived in West for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
- The community vibe scene is improving

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2024 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.
