Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Homes are going for about $1,766,700 on average. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $250,001, which feels pretty solid for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
