University Park quality of life -am I missing something?

Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $2,940 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,104 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
